My oh my, was it a busy week.  First FBI Director James Comey announced that Hillary Clinton would not be recommended for charges for violating multiple sections of US. Code Title 18 because “some animals are more equal than other animals.”  Then, two black men are killed by police officers in extremely suspicious circumstances.  In the case of Philando Castille, in front of his girlfriend and her four year old daughter.  Then to top it all off, fifteen police officers get shot in Dallas Thursday Night.

Hillary Clinton being let off scott free when many others wouldn’t is wrong.

The deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille were wrong.

The deaths of the officers in Dallas were wrong, even if at some point any of them used excessive force.

The deaths of the innocent is always wrong.

Now I completely agree that as an institution, the police in America are incredibly corrupt.  As Lord Acton once said, “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority; still more when you superadd the tendency of the certainty of corruption by authority.”  A monopoly on force and violence is the most dangerous to life and liberty.

However, when you react with violence to violence, you don’t get less, you get more.  Every time you react by rioting, shooting cops, etc, you already lead to the militarized and paranoid police to become more militarized and paranoid.

Let’s look at an example where people, legitimately angry responded with violence to violence. Let’s travel back two and a half years ago to Maidan Square in Kiev Ukraine.

For months, massive protests had rocked the Ukrainian capital.  Some of those protesters began to riot, and eventually the government was overthrown.  Yet scarcely two months passed and the equally corrupt replacement government started a fratricidal war when people in the east.  Fast to now, thousands of the “Mihailos” who protested on Maidan are now lying dead in the fields, trenches, and rubble of the Donbass.

Do you really want to go down this dark path?

And, while we’re on the subjects of violence, and innocent lives being killed, let’s talk about black lives and abortion.  Every single day, an average of 1,200 black, preborn babies are killed in abortion clinics, and over four hundred thousand each year.  Thirty seven percent of all abortions in the US are performed on black women, despite blacks making up less than fifteen percent of the population.  Those aren’t clumps of cells, they’re not blobs of tissue, they’re not parasites, and they’re not tumors.  They’re developing human beings, just like you and me.

In this case, these black lives are physically incapable of defending themselves.  Black people killed by police at least have a theoretical chance of defense.  How many official “Black Lives Matter” protests have occurred at abortion clinics?  Oh, that’s right, zero because “muh women’s empowerment.”

In fact, not only is this completely ignored, it’s ridiculed whenever someone asks “what about black lives in utero,” even if it’s another black person asking the question.  Then, it’s encouraged by their mostly white, so called “progressive” backers because “black lives matter, except for those not yet born.”

How would you like to be starved to death, burned alive, crushed, or ripped limb from limb?  I don’t think you’d like that very much.  An innocent human life is an innocent human life.  It makes no difference who they are, where they are, or how old they are, an innocent life is an innocent life, period, end of story.

People of Black Lives Matter: stop being such hypocrites, and stop ignoring problems within your own community.
